I saw Death Note 2 years before I write now, but it is still really impressing me. I like L much more, than Kira. Kira tries to solve a worldwide problem, that can be solved the easiest way by killing. What should have happened, if these dangerous people damned by Kira had gone to jail for lifetime. The brilliant artwork behind this story is that it must be showed somehow for contemporary people in a different way how to behave themselves. Perhaps the Bible is not enough nowadays to withhold some souls from criminality. Death Note is a message for people of recent times, and as this, it’s great. It says, Shinigami can kill you, but not for any reason, only for really serious one. Kira is killed by Ryuk, not by another man. And there is a second chance for Misa, the second Kira. When L dies, the story (the 37 part series) for me is finished. Near is great too, but he cannot give the half experience that L could, though I respect Near’s action and achievement very much, anyway he finds Kira, and must be admitted, that he cures the pain a bit after L has gone. If L hadn’t died, we wouldn’t have remembered him and the message of the story years after one watched it. So the main character has died (so that we remember him), and/but the negative person is eliminated. Thus the authors through the character of L have created a motivated spirit not only for Near, but for all of us I hope. I cannot imagine a more gentle, but by the same way more emphatic and categorical call for the human beings of the world to calm down and think again the relationships with each other. Can Death Note be a modern time Bible ?

Kira is not justice!! L has a right to sentence him to death!!! Kira thinks that killing ppl makes the world a better place?? No it doesnt!! It makes the world worst!! If he goes and kills ppl just because they did wrong then everyone is living in fear!! L is smart to think Kira is horrible! If Kira kills ppl like that then he needs to kill himself because HE is a mass murderer!!! L Should not have died! HE was sweet smart and we both have scoliosis (if thtas how you spell it lol) I love L and will always be for the better!!

I liked L.lawliet very much but i have the opinon that Kira was Justice because the world cannot be changed by the right way. Light changed that world and reduced the crime rate dramatically. At the end, Laito gets little carried away and i didn’t liked that but he lost the battle and died a painful death. Nevertheless he was JUSTICE!
